Business software

Custom business software · Since 2020

Stop asking five people to get one answer.

Too many systems, updates that never reach the right person, and the same data typed in three places. We build one system that answers the questions your team asks all day, at a fixed price, with over 100 years of combined experience behind it.

Live demos

Try it before you talk to anyone.

Each demo is a working system with a fictional company inside it. No login, no sales call, and it works on a phone. Pick the one closest to your business and follow the first step on the card.

Lanternfield Care Group, live demo with a fictional company Lanternfield Care Group demo: 52 nursing homes on one screen with referrals waiting, late care plans, building alarms and open beds

Skilled nursing groups · live, no login

Lanternfield Care Group

52 nursing homes on one screen. Hospital referral packets are read as they arrive, care plans are tracked against their 48-hour deadline, and each admission is entered once.

Tap Watch the AI read a form. A real AI model reads a photographed form in about 30 seconds and boxes every value it found.

Ridgeline Freight, live demo with a fictional company Ridgeline Freight demo: lane profitability ranked by contribution margin with an AI note on a losing backhaul lane

Trucking and logistics · live, no login

Ridgeline Freight

A carrier with 10 trucks and 22 partner carriers. Every lane ranked by what it earns after fuel and settlement, receivables sorted by which invoice to chase first, and dispatch on one board.

Open the Las Vegas to Fresno card and tap Show analysis. It shows the eight weeks of math behind a lane that loses money.

Architecture, engineering and design-build · shown on a call

Firm command center

Every job, file, license and dollar in one place the whole office can open. A morning brief lists what needs the owner today, and anyone can ask a question about the firm by voice.

This demo was built around a real firm's project list, so we show it on a call instead of publicly.

The problem we fix

Your business runs on too many systems that don't talk to each other.

So people fill the gaps. They re-type records, forward emails, keep private spreadsheets and ask each other questions all day. The work gets done, but nobody is sure of the answer until they have asked three people.

Too many systems

The customer is in the CRM, the invoice is in QuickBooks, the schedule is in a spreadsheet and the latest change is in someone's inbox.

Updates that never arrive

Was it done? Who has it? Is Joe out today? Each answer takes a message, a wait and a follow-up.

Manual data entry

The same record is typed into one screen, then the next. It costs hours every week, and every copy is a chance for a mistake.

Answers that depend on who you ask

Two spreadsheets, two numbers. When the person who keeps the real one is out, part of the business is out with them.

What a fixed-price build includes

One system, connected to what you already use.

We start from how work moves through your office today, not from a template. The result is software your team opens every morning because it saves them time.

One written price
A scope and a fixed price before any work starts, so the budget is settled on day one.
Your tools, connected
QuickBooks, email, your CRM and the industry systems you run, so each record is typed once.
Answers on one screen
The questions you ask every week, answered live, with every number clickable down to the detail behind it.
Phone and desktop
The same system in the office, on the road and on the floor.
AI where it earns its place
Reading faxed forms, drafting the morning brief and answering questions in plain language, with a person approving what matters.
Yours to keep
When the work ends, the system is yours. We can run it for you after launch, or hand it to your team.

Why a plant-software team

We learned to build software where failure stops production.

Since 2020 we have built systems for foundries, water utilities, food plants and data centers, where software runs around the clock. Our founders were engineers at Inductive Automation, and Artek is an Inductive Automation Premier Integrator.

We run our own company on software we built. Our CRM ties together QuickBooks, Gmail, Slack and our meeting notes, so anyone at Artek walks into a meeting knowing the customer's full history.

We build on our own engineering platform: proven components and advanced tooling shaped by over 100 years of combined industrial software experience. That is why we can quote a fixed price and deliver in weeks.

  1. A short call

Tell us how the work moves today and where it gets typed twice. We open the demo closest to your business and show you what yours could look like.

  2. A fixed price

You receive a written scope and one price. If it does not pay for itself, we will tell you before you spend anything.

  3. Build and launch

You click through working screens as we build them. Smaller projects are often live in under two months.

Questions

Before you call.

Something not covered here? Call us at (877) 318-0200.

What does a project cost?

Every project has one fixed price, written down before any work starts. We quote after a short call, and we price from what the system will save or earn your business. We are the right fit for companies where custom software clearly pays for itself.

How long does it take?

Smaller projects are often live in under two months. You click through working screens while we build, so nothing arrives as a surprise at the end.

Do we have to replace the tools we already use?

No. We connect the tools you already pay for, such as QuickBooks, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace and your CRM, so information is typed once and shows up everywhere it is needed.

Anyone can build an app with AI now. Why hire you?

Anyone can now produce an impressive demo in a weekend. Running a company on it is different: it has to be right every day, keep its data safe, and keep working after the person who built it moves on. We build on our own engineering platform: proven components and advanced tooling shaped by over 100 years of combined industrial software experience. That is why we can quote a fixed price and deliver in weeks.

Who owns the software?

You do. When the work ends, the system is yours. We can keep it running for you after launch, or hand it to your own team with documentation they can work from.

You build software for factories. Why office software?

Since 2020 most of our work has run inside plants, where software runs around the clock and a failure stops production. The engineers who build to that standard build these systems too. Our industrial work is at artek.io.

Fixed price, before any work starts

Find out what your system would cost.

Tell us how the work moves today and where it gets typed twice. A person at Artek reads every message and replies with a time to talk.

Running a plant or a utility?

Plant-floor systems are where we started.

SCADA, MES and control-room software for manufacturers, water utilities, food plants and data centers. That work lives on our main site.
